Combining the Extreme with the Mundane

eleMental

Elemental combined the world of a mudndane office space with day dreams of extreme sports. Set decoration was vital to subtly leading our protagonist to make a decision to go for his dreams and find happiness for himself. We wanted his personality to show through in the his everyday environment.

Personifying the Body

No Sleep

No Sleep takes an adventure into one sleepless man's body while he attempts to fall asleep. Designing this film we treated the body as if it was a business and we created characters and rooms that represented organs and systems within the body and explored how those characters would look and interact with each other.

Locations All Over

Just Another Tuesday

Just Another Tuesday follows two men throughout their days accidentally intertwining and unintentionally affecting each other's lives. This required us to find several locations. In the end we had seven different locations some of which needed full dressing and others only requiring a few tweaks. We also staged two on screen car accidents. The projects gave us lots of experience working with the city, businesses, and police to secure locations.

Bringing a Comic to Life

Questions

Question is a lesser known but still beloved DC comics character. He also presented one large challenge between him and his sidekick Renee, they had no faces. In the end we did the faces practically with prosthetics. We wanted to take the comics and bring them into a darker realm. This led us to pin the pair against classic batman villain Black Mask.
