Jekyll and Hyde

Theoretical Design

This production of Jekyll and Hyde was designed for the historic Ford Theatre in Washington D.C. The set is based on the concept of playing the whole musical on the French medieval instrument, the carillon. The set is comprised of a set of interconnected spiral staircases interspersed throughout an actual functional carillon which the music for the show would be played on. This gallery includes renderings, 1/4 scale model, 2D groundplan, and 3D computer model. The scale model utilized over 50 individual 3D printed bells.
